Girls’ last fantasy
Recently I’ve reviewed the movies that shot by Audrey Hepburn, “My Fair Lady”, and “The Roman Holiday”, her beautiful eyes and elegant temperament have pressed a deep impression in my mind. I have been admiring two great women in the world since I entered the university. One is Jane Austen, the other is Audrey Hepburn. The exact reasons that why I would get fancied with Jane Austen was that all the characters in her novels had a happy ending, and the stories that she described were pure and fine. All the main characters obeyed the rule of chastity, which just in accordance with our Chinese morality.
Besides that, Jane Austen herself was a mysterious woman; she didn’t get married until the day she passed away, and I was curious about why she could write so many stories about all the lovers get together in the end. The women under her writing were naïve, and they didn’t need any Gucci jewelry or Tiffany jewelry to increase their glamour, because they were just as orchids that spraying the slight perfume and without the assistance of any other decorations.
After the four years of immerging myself in the novels of Jane Austen, I rather wanted to be a woman like her. She could use her pen in convincing women that they should own wisdom instead of owning Chanel bags or LV handbags to show their temperament. And the girl’s last fantasy must be that she could achieve something by herself while not dreaming about relying on others.
